CS was selected in 2006 as part of a design and build a team to propose the use of a steel lift shaft for HDB with a 20:20 target- 20% shorter construction time at 20% cost savings. The pilot scheme involved 4 numbers of ten-story blocks at Marsiling and 2 numbers of low-rise 4-story blocks at Jurong West. The project was completed with a single-day installation of the lift shafts. HDB has since raised its target to 30:30 and we are involved in 9 other HDB projects since, with more than 100 blocks. The total project value is more than $400 million. Our involvements are either direct appointments from HDB or part of the design and build a team. So far, we have a 100% success track record for the design and build tenders we have participated More significantly, we are involved in more pilot projects such as shaftless lifts, home lifts, rental blocks flat conversion, type C mid-landing, etc, a recognition of our ability to contribute actively and using innovative ideas to come out with buildable, economical and time-saving solutions.

GKE Warehousing & Logistics Pte Ltd specialized in storage value-added services. The core activities are to provide the storage solution to customers through the optimization of space and accurate inventory records. The service might be related to general cargo, tobacco, and liquor. GKE also has a dangerous goods storage license for Class 2, Class 3, Class 4, Class 5.1, Class 6.1, Class 8, and Class 9. Creating sufficient storage for the cargo storage will be the key point in this project and also add in the car parking ramp for the lorries to transport the cargo to the warehouse. Each level will have multiple loading bays for the GKE team to unload the cargo, our design team has created spaces for the giant crane to lift the cargo from level to level which facilitates the service without using the lorry. The building also equips automated windows to maintain natural ventilation by a passive design concept to avoid the factors that caused hazardous accidents.
The factory mainly used metal fine sheet cutting operations. Our design team has planned enough spaces for the factory function and also considers an environmentally friendly office for the staff and management teams the curtain wall concept maximizes the daylight coverage rate for the interior space which is good for the staff who use the computer frequently. The level 2 sky garden provides a leisure space for people to rest and also beautifies the manufacturing factory.
